"there is clear coat dripping along the side but they are smooth and actually add the the guitars uniqueness."

I wonder if the caps really won't have any effect on the sound? He sounds very experienced. If only it were red!

I guess I will look for poor craftsmanship on my next guitar purchase to add to the "uniqueness". Of course, with all the bottle caps, who would even notice a little clear coat drip?

Aw cmon...50 beercaps and some epoxy really does make a $125 laminate guitar worth $450. The funniest part is that the listing shows 2 offers of $425 that weren't taken. I suspect the seller had something to do with these offers hehe. But you know....he's sold others for 6 and 7 hundred so the many who want this better get on it.

Hilarious

No thanks - I got an old POS nylon string guitar, and Im sure I'll have enough beer bottle caps by the end of this weekend, some DEFT left over from my last project... Don't worry I'll only list mine for $350

I did something like that to an old acoustic only I used pennies. The guitar used to have a dark copper patina now it's all turquoise! It leaves the weird alkaline smell on my arm when I play it too. It sure as hell ain't worth anywhere close to $425 though, that crackhead with the bottlecap guitar is dreaming.

Ugh...

I've done some bad things to guitars, but I don't feel so bad about it now!

Whoa! I think that guitar came through a pawn shop here in Sioux Falls. Or one just like it.

Why would someone make a guitar look like it fell into the recycling bin?

No I still have that guitar but I'm not surprised to learn that my idea wasn't very unique.
