I havent put this thing down in days! I love this thing. You can hear a piece of a tune Im working on using this guitar at:
www.myspace.com/jacobsnightmare The tune is 'December'. Im not saying its a great tune or anything..but it will give you a taste of the sound of this thing. |

Hm, I don't see "December" on your page, but I'm listening to your other stuff and I like it very much.
I had major fun with a Jagmaster this afternoon at my local Guitar Center, and I suppose I'm eventually going to have to go back and buy the thing because I'm missing it now. What a great guitar. |

Hey basher, Thank you so much for checking it out. The more I listened to "December" I realized I jumped the gun on putting that out for folks to listen to..The rhythm was completely off and the bass tuning was a little off. Sorry to waste your time. I will redo using a click track and repost. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again. |

I played a couple of Jagmasters when I was on my recent humbucker guitar hunt. I was A-B-C'ing a Mei Strat HSS, the Jagmaster and a faded Gibson SG. I went with the SG because my head kept telling me that this was a long term guitar.
The Jagmaster sounded great, it was comfy, I liked the neck, I liked the burst. I think that if I ever saw a used one for $150 I would snag it and sneak it into the woodpile just because of the mojo factor. Really neat guitar.

I've played several at various Guitar Centers/other stores, and the short scale is fun to mess around on. 1.5" doesn't seem like much, but then you realize it's like playing on capo 1, and you can make more complex chords up the neck (for me at least. I have small hands, and I felt the difference).
I'm not a 100% fan of the body though, I wish Squier would make a Mustang/Musicmaster guitar. The Musmaster? Mustmaster? Broncmaster, Duomaster, Cyclomaster.........
