Anybody know about Yamaha powered mixers?
Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Yamaha EMX 312 and EMX212 powered mixers. Thanks.

We have a Yamaha powered box, not sure if it's a 312 or a 512. Anyway, we absolutely love it, have put something like 300 gigs on it so far.
Good gear! Tim

I have the EMX62M which is the 6 channel baby brother to the ones that you are looking at. I have one power amp for the mains and no monitor power.
The 7 band EQ is quiet. The tonw pots are quiet. The entire unit runs very quietly. The reverb is ok. The plastic carry case outer frame is rugged and handy. My unit has been bulletproof - It's my practice PA. I paid $199 at Guitar Center and I'm sure I'll have it for 15 years. It's simple, quiet running and handy. Sounds great. I wish I had the unit with two power amps so that I could play CD's in stereo. Great little box.

Not sure about the models you named, but I've had an EMX660 (? - I think that's the model) for several years. Never a problem with it. Very quiet in all areas of operation, the reverbs are all adequate but not fantastic. The main things are that it sounds good and it just does its job time after time with no thought or effort from me: just turn it on and it works.

don't know those models, but i'll vouch for the EMX line in general. i've got a four-year-old EMX 88s that's turned out to be the best PA money i ever spent.

I have
the 512 with four 115 cabs. Everytime I crank it up in my shop/studio I have to repaint the walls.
Seriously...... I love it.
