Best Guit Pix ever and a Question
I know some of you are hip to Dave's guitars Click. Ithink I've seen Bucko post about it.
Anyway, the Personal Collection part of the site is the greatest collection of guit pix I've seen on the internets. The collection is crazy (that cherry burst 59 LP is so sweet...), and he's got a great representation of lots of weird stuff (The Silvertone Jimmy Reed has got umpty-million tons of pawn shop mojo). I have to say, the Gibson Howard Roberts Custom is the most confused looking guitar I've ever seen. Looks kinda like a singe cutaway gibson jumbo with a razor sharp lower horn and the pickguard from a 50's epi. And the formica tailpiece is just the worst. And speed knobs? And why are there three? I am corn-fused.

Great quote from the site (8th entry under Fender):
Stratocaster '62, Salmon Pink/Fiesta Red, Gold hardware, Very flamey neck! A fellow brought this in to our store 15 years ago just wanting to know what it was worth. He said he'd had it forever and he'd never sell it. When I told him how much it was worth, he just got quiet for a bit, then said "well I'd sell it for that"! The rest is history!
