Got good service from Gibson USA

Whenever I get good service from anywhere I post a message about it same as when I get bad service.

When I got my new Gibson it was missing the certificate of authenticity and the warranaty card. The packing and inspection tag showed no one filled out the final packing part of the inspection slip so they just forgot those 2 items everything else was perfect.

So I called up Gibson emailed pics of the guitar and packing slip and they sent me a certificate of authenticity and warranty card and a new Gibson T-shirt Fedex overnight.

Thats good service in my book.

I wish I could afford the Gibson I've always wanted......
I love good customer service, or even service at all, or even somebody who can spell service ....we have a lost art here
ladies and gents..it's the lost art of SERVICE....

nice to hear a good tale re: service

I sent an email to Gibson last year, just after I got my SG Classic -- I had a question about the finish.

It was the Friday after Thanksgiving, and I figured I would get a reply sometime the next week.

They responded in a couple of HOURS. I was knocked out!

I really like it. Took me a couple days to get used to it gave it a good setup and got it playing the way I like it. The auto tuning feature is great for me being legally blind it really saves me alot of time. I can go from open G to open E and to DADGAD and back to standard tuning in just a matter of seconds for each tuning.

I originally bought this cause I thought it was gonna be a good collectors item which it already is but now that Ive bonded with it I think its a lifetime keeper.

Its got a chambered body so its light for a Les Paul and is really loud when played unplugged.

Hey Mark, are you going to do something with that switch tip? That color doesn't seem like it fits with the color scheme.

Thats the aged switch tip from my 58 Historic Les Paul. Thats why it looks weird. I got the normal one on there now took me a day to find it was packaged along with the case candy.
