Music Software Help

I'm looking for a simple and free program that will play triads and more complex chords for me. Ideally I would be able to get sustained synth type sounds that would have some user control options. The simpler the better.

Can anybody recommend such a thing?

I have BIAB but I find it incredibly complicated to figure out and I would rather shove burning sticks in my eyes then have to sit and read endless pages of instructions trying to figure it out.

If BIAB will do what I've described above maybe someone could explain to me how to do it!!!!

Thanks.

I am assuming you are looking for composing software since you are already using BIAB. You can try PowerTab Editor since it is free. Guitar Pro isn't free but it is pretty powerful. However, the best choice (but again NOT free) is Finale 2008. I haven't played with the 2008 version but I had an older version and it was VERY nice. However I do apologize since I don't know if any of them play triads.
