plenty to be proud of there!

don't see too many coloramas around....neat looking guitar. bet it sounds/plays good. that "scutterbotch" (0l Fuzzy term) Affinity is real purty. looks like from the fretboard wear that the MIM tele has gotten the most playing time.

hey, what's in the rack behind the two teles? looks like an acoustic and a strat, and maybe pieces of another guitar or two.

Thank you!

Theres a purple sparkle tele body which I keep tinkering with, a lap steel, a strat copy with a crazy neck and a £3 charity shop acoustic guitar!

Yes the Mexican tele Ive owned for about 12 years. I like it a lot, it was my first tele, but unfortunately the neck is really suffering with the finish flaking off.

People pay good money for that.

Nice collection mate, seems like you've got a lot of bases covered. What's the Ozark Resonator like?

That Colorama looks nice - presumably it's a recent oriental re-issue and, unlike a 60s original, fairly playable. Actually, come to think of it, in appearance it's not a million miles away from a Gordon-Smith GS2.

As it goes, I too only possess one humbucker guitar - a '75 Yamaha SG30. That is, unless I count a blonde Washburn 335 clone that needs attention when I get around to it, which I bought (in a very nice hard-shell case) from my stepson for 50 quid...

Nice collection!!
I see you have an EV Jr. head amp....and a 1 x 12 DIY speaker cabinet?
With what speaker?
I built an over-sized 1 x 10 closed-back speaker cabinet (Weber Chicago Vintage Ceramic 10) to go with my EV Jr. head amp.

Thanks! I really like the Ozark. Its probably not the greatest resonator tone, but its enough for touches here and there and plays great!

Just got the Colorama a few weeks ago. Being a humbucker newbie and someone who usually plays almost excvlusively clean it sounds like a jazz guitar to me! Nice addition to my arsenal and beautiful Hofner logo. Ive heard about the sixties ones but never seen one, I think this is a couple of years old.

Cheers Steve, that big cab is what I usually use with my bass but its ok with the EVJ too. I have a couple of jensen tens lying around and eventually want to build something to house them.

how does the 1x10 sound with the head?

When I first joined TDPRI I always wanted to take a "group shot" of all of my gear...

As you b@$t@rd$ have infused me with GAS over the years, I am unable to do so for lack of a room large enough to hold all of my gear AND a camera capable of such a wide panorama.

HAHAHAHA!

I may have to take smaller group shots... I would like to thank you all for making me now, in the year 2008, own more gear than I ever needed - and I'm still sadly "unequipped" compared to most of you :)

Well, I think if I sold everything I have I may just be able to get one USA telecaster, maybe a reissue or something tasty like I keep seeing on these pages.

But hey, that'd be no fun and Id never dare take it out of the house!
