Got the "Elvis Lives" dvd for X-mas
This is the one where they took footage of Elvis performing and incorporated his moves and voice into a modern production of his music done by the original TCB band as they appear today. This is a fantastic achievement and kept us glued to the screen for the whole show as well as the extra scenes, etc.
Of course to me the best part was James Burton. The camera cut to him a couple of times in every song which was a real feast. In some songs, they had the original footage of him on a split screen beside his present day image. I've always liked Elvis' stuff, but the real stars this time were the musicians and especially James. A great dvd for anyone's collection. Brian |

Is this the 25th Anniversary Concert? I got the '68 Special 3-disc edition and the "That's The Way It Is" 2-disc edition. Goes good with my "Aloha" and "On Tour".
