tom delonge vs hello kitty

i am looking for a good pop-punk guitar, single humbucker, no tone control.
so between the tom delonge (probably $500 on eBay). or the hello kitty with a Gibson dirty fingers pickup. (unless there is a better one you can think of)
what would you go for?

thank ya

The Avril Lavigne Tele fits that bill, right? Black 1 HB Tele with a checkerboard pickguard.

Chicks dig the Hello Kitty, though.

Yeah, I'd be looking at the Avril 1st, then the Hello Kitty (black) THEN the Delonge

Mexi HSS in Black ....get a real guitar. A Tomorrow DeLonge Squier would be my next choice......change the pickup.

I'd take the Hello Kitty.

Fewer cartoon references on that one.

my .02

Happy Dude, why not get a standard squire (which I think is pretty much what those 2 guitars are), and then "make it your own". Spray paint stuff on it, scratch it up, knock some dents in it, shoot some bullet holes through it (not while you are wearing it), and you will have a really rad punk axe. (sorry if rad is no longer used as an adjective these days, I am a little out of the loop)

:)

There's a bunch of black Squier 51s floating around that you could slap-up with a set of unwanted stickers from a Strummer Tele.

Hello Kitty is much cooler than any member of Blink-182 ever was, is, or will be...Don't get me wrong, they write catchy songs and good hooks, but I grew up listening to Green Day (pre-Dookie - Dookie), and then when I hear Blink-182, it feels like I have heard it all before.

I got my HK Squier last year at a Target store, after XMAS blowout for $99.00.
My daughter thinks it'll be hers someday....

Has this tom delonge guy every been on a lunch box or pencil case??
I think you know which way to go.

I'm a little bit upset that there isn't a Hello Kitty Tele.

I suppose I should paste one together with Kisekae and photoshop

Edit: Hello Kitty Tele:
