anybody near Oakdale Long Island, NY. ?

You see I grew up as a child in Oakdale & our greatest times were there growing up - as many of you know my mom was killed in a car crash last August & my dad longs to see our house especially the back yard with the pool and fruit trees he planted many years ago, also love to see a picture of my best buds house. The address is 27 Ivy Hill Rd Oakdale Long Island, my buddies house is next door at 15 Ivy hill rd, also love to see other pics of the housed on the block.

If any of you ate near and can do this for me, I'll send you something cool, or you can specify what you'd like. thanks..

My parents paid $16000 for this one in '56:

amazing - The day we moved ( as my Pop got relocated to S Cal) was the biggest bummer, the neighborhood was great, we'd have the greatest pool parties, played ball in that huge back yard - I hope one day to go back, haven't been there since 69.'
