Well I went to the jam and I had a great time....however I chickened out and didn't play at all...I just wasn't ready this time..
But I DO want to thank Chuck (and his drummer....sorry I didn't get his name!) for being so gracious and understanding. They must of asked me 10 times to get up and everything would be fine! I had to leave while they were still on stage playing a set so I wanted to take the time to thank them here! I also want to thank Tele-Martini for showing me how to get there and chatting. Also, GibsonJunkie came out all the way from Connecticut and we chatted a bit! I didn't feel so bad for not playing though because F1rocco is a newbie like me (sorry Jacin!) and just chilled out and listened to the great music. I told him that at the NEXT jam BOTH of us will be up there! The hit of the show was a band called 411...all around 10 years old and just AWESOME! They played a 3 song set and no one wanted to follow them! GREAT JOB guys! |

+1 on having a great time and meeting some really nice folks. members at TDPRI are as friendly in person as they are here on the website.
I'd like to thank 51Mike and Crossfyre for thier generosity. thanks for the chance to jam with you guys , it was a blast. Mikespe, don't "fret". We'll get some songs worked out for the next Jam and we'll both be better prepared.

I am so disappointed I couldn't make it. I did get a phone call last night though from some of my friends at the jam. It was real nice to hear from you mugs! There I stood. Paint brush in hand. Phone on my shoulder. Desperately trying to finish painting the new bathroom so we can use the shower this week while my wife recuperates from surgery.
Looking forward to the photos. It's been a long time since I've missed a jam. I'll be there at the next one!

I had hoped to make it out, but caught the dreaded crud that's been going around. I figured it would be better to stay home and not share it. Sounds like everyone had a great time. I hope to make the next one.

Hey guys, great to be back here. I haven't posted in a couple years. Apparently, somebody with an IP close to mine was booted and it was affecting my ability to access the forum. Either that, or I screwed up somehow. But whatever - I'm back.
Jam was great. Due to the storm attendance was understandably sparse, but we had a good ol' time. The highlight of the show was the band 441, comprised of rockers from 10 to 12 years old. They were great! It was really cool to see young kids geting down and rocking. The kid I let play through my rig was about 4 feet tall and 10 years old, and he handled my effects rig like a pro. I even pulled out my Phantom for a few numbers. Sounded great. Thanks all who attended and for those of you who missed it, we'll be doing another this summer.

Thanks for my new daily desktop........
Those kids rocked.... I thought their new bass player fit in pretty good...Plus I like Bands with a tall baseplayer....Just looks badaz...... It was cool to watch when "441"(Their Group name based on the main Route # that goes through their town of Penfield NY)wasnt playing.......Everytime a solo would break out the kids would put down their Burger and coke or stop playing foosball instantly and stare just soaking in knowledge.......Also kicked that the 441 already had an original song and didnt play Desparado..... Thanks to everyone that played.......... |

Thanks! It was great meeting all you guys, too!
The phtots are all posted in a big zip file at www.fenderplayersforum.com I will probably post them up on my site later, but I won't have a free night for a while. You should pop in and say howdy over there anyways... you'll see a lot of familiar faces... |
