For $40 with a return policy, how could you go wrong? I'd like to know how it works out for you.

The Monster Power products are very good. I have several for my hifi gear, and even the Stage 1 conditioning is audible with my home theatre gear. I had people swearing I had switched speakers or amplifiers when I blind A/B'd my Stage 3-conditioned HTS-3000. Power conditioning does work, and is worth the money.

You do need to have reasonable expectations, though. At home, my guitar amps are run off of the HTS-3000. My old VibroChamp still hums if I have a light dimmer on in the same room, or if the TV is also on. They're not miracle-working products, but they will do a fair amount for cleaning up the power from the wall. Depending on why the hum, there may be nothing you can do.

Not sure about using one for a guitar set-up. I doubt there is a magic bullet for buzzing. And as stated above; you need to have reasonable expectations. But I've used a Chang in my audio rig for quite some time.
