Got Bruuuuuce tix for LA...

...but about had a coronory in the process. No surprise, show sold out in less than 4 minutes, but while I kept banging the server hoping to pick up abandoned holds or flamed credit cards a note came up that a 2nd show was being added for 10/30. JUMPED on that mutha and came away with 2 tickets, upper concourse behind the stage. Boo.

At least we're in the building - and grateful for it. Ducats are already up on eBay and CL going 6x-10x face. Bah. Gotta love capitalism.

Bruce is gonna sell a DAMN lot of Teles. I posted elsewhere: Fender should gear up, maybe come up with a bound burst based on the Baja (ooo, alliteration!) out of their Mexican factory, about $899 should do it. There's gonna be tens of thousands of doods catching this tour and wanting to crush their midlife crises with some cool Bruce-age Tele.

Don't poo poo behind the stage seats. In '99 during the reunion tour I saw Springsteen 7 times at the Meadowlands in NJ. The best seats I had were behind the band. I was probably no more that 30 feet in back of Max. The sound was better, and I viewed the show the way Bruce was seeing the audience. I was also within line of sight to the pit where all the techs were scrambling around with all of Springsteen's guitars. It was the most unique perspective I've ever had at any concert.

Thx Rock! I'd be happy to sit in the parking lot. He could probably sell out the Meadowlands for like 142 straight shows, huh? My first show - MSG Sept 78, I still have "Quarter to Three" on my mental tape loop. Rock and Roll lives...

Me, too, although my wife and I will be sitting in different locations on Monday night. Now, how supportive can a spouse be?

Wow, I should say! That's wild. A couple single tickets came up in my search too, and I was thinking of floating the "Honey, what would you think about..." when I lucked into the pair in Upper Concourse. Enjoy, Mr. and Mrs. Twangmeister!
