Green Eyed Lady

we had a request for Sugarloaf's "Green Eyed Lady".....it's a killer tune as i recall !
i've been trying to track down some info, hoping to find out if a Tele was used on the session....perhaps someone here knows or even played on the track ?

the following clip does not feature the band, but does sound fairly good...

....and their only other chart success(afaik), "Don't Call Us":

Nice bass line, huh? Can't help you about the Tele...but I remeber seeing this band at the Hollywood Bowl around '69 with a band called Southwind...good luck...ooo nice keyboard too...

I pretty sure the guitar player was Bob Yazell. I think he still lives in Denver and still plays. The guitar he used had about 6 mini switches on it. It was an odd shape, a bit like a Firebird. It could have been homemade. Lots of pickups like Steve Morris' guitar. Sorry, that's about as close as I can get on the guitar. He was one of the best guitar players in Denver at that time, along with Tommy Bolen.

That's probably the first time I've heard "Don't Call Us" in 30 years!
