Green Eyed Lady
we had a request for Sugarloaf's "Green Eyed Lady".....it's a killer tune as i recall !
i've been trying to track down some info, hoping to find out if a Tele was used on the session....perhaps someone here knows or even played on the track ? the following clip does not feature the band, but does sound fairly good... ....and their only other chart success(afaik), "Don't Call Us": |

Nice bass line, huh? Can't help you about the Tele...but I remeber seeing this band at the Hollywood Bowl around '69 with a band called Southwind...good luck...ooo nice keyboard too...

I pretty sure the guitar player was Bob Yazell. I think he still lives in Denver and still plays. The guitar he used had about 6 mini switches on it. It was an odd shape, a bit like a Firebird. It could have been homemade. Lots of pickups like Steve Morris' guitar. Sorry, that's about as close as I can get on the guitar. He was one of the best guitar players in Denver at that time, along with Tommy Bolen.
