Gherson guitar. Info please!
Hey!
A friend of mine got a Gherson Les Paul copy. I can't seem to find anything on it anywhere on the web, so I was hoping some of the guitarfreaks in here could help me...? Any info is welcome :) http://www.fetishguitars.com/html/it...gherson/3.html I think it's the one to the left. Thanks. -Stein- |

Hey Cold, all I know is... I've got one too!
Mine's pretty bashed, bought used from brother-in-law about 20 years ago, but was my favourite guitar for many years. Mine's black. I'd be interested to hear any background on gherson... I think mine must be 70's guitar. |

Gherson Les Paul
Gherson was an Italy brand who produced in seventies and eighties copy of famous american guitar, mainly les pauls, gibson SG (I remember also a two neck SG, like the one Jimmy Page used). These guitars were cheap and sold to people who start playing guitar.

I've found a little more about Gherson guitars, from various sources (including translating from Italian!) - The brand belongs to a company created by SNC Menghini Menghini Alfredo, its factory is located near RECATINI CASTELFIDARDO in the province of Marche.

Hi, I write from Italy. Gherson was a brand of guitars produced in Castelfidardo, near Ancona. I have one, a like-Stratocaster 80's.
