Did you ever read "Bored of the Rings" by the Harvard Lampoon? If not, you can usually pick up a copy in decent shape for a few bucks from Abebooks.com... It's definitely worth a read if you are a fan of Lord of the Rings because it'll have you howling with laughter in short order....

One of my favorite books for several decades now -- hilarious.

I like that the wizard ("Goodgulf"... -LOL-) merely has a bag of cheap tricks, including a tie that lights up and says, "Wouldst thou kiss me in the dark baby?"

I read "The Bored of the Rings" when I was in Jr. High....had me reeling back then...I remember very vividly.."I sit on the floor and pick my nose..." I'd quote more but run the risk of censure....suffice it to say its hilarious! Goodgulf, Frito, and Spam.....Rock On!

That video was an easter egg on the double disc of the fellowship.. they originally showed that at the MTV awards.. still funny..

I also read Bored in HS.. funny.. the Zazu Pitts! HA

The Two Towers had a great bit ftom MTV Movie Awards where Andy Serkis was accepting the award for best animated character and Golem ran onto the scene, took the award from him, and cussed out the cast and crew of the film. One of the funniest things I've ever seen
