If anyone is interested in the mathematical structure of music, the way he substitutes chromatic ascents and descents for the circle of fifths progression is an illustration of the automorphism group of the set of integers modulo 12.

Tommy Emanuel is amazing! That guy to Tommy's left in Mark's original post is Preston Reed. Not anything at all like TE stylewise, but pretty awsome at what he does.

Amazingly, that makes me want to play more, not that I harbor any illusion of getting to that level of proficiency. It's just so entertaining and musically interesting that it makes me want to to try make good noises with my guitar.
