Help me ID the band that sang....
a song from the 60's. I don't know the name of the song, but assume it's "Because I Love You", because the last line of the chorus is " because, because I love you". It was a pretty popular song that was done by a group that sounds typical of the era. It was a soft pop ballad with very Beatles-ish style harmonies and a very catchy tune. I think it also had a xylophone playing in the tune. I don't know if that's enough info for anyone to use but would appreciate any help. It's driving me nuts thinking about it. It just popped in my head this weekend and I've been humming it ever since. I know I'm going to feel like an idiot when someone tells me who it is. The only group I could come up with was the Dave Clark Five, but I don't think that's right.

http://www.marcondo.com/marcondo/guitar/Because.mp3 In the MID 60's the top 3 groups were The Beatles The Rolling Stones and the Dave Clark 5. I like all the DC5 songs great pop.
