Scales For Weighing Guitars

What's the best kind of scale for weighing guitars? Where do you get one? Thanks.

Tom

I picked up a small digital postal scale on e-bay. Accurate to 0.1 oz. IIRC, it was $15-20, shipped...

I picked up one of these on sale at Harbor Freight for $15

Lots of postal scales are available too, but can start to get pricey.

Those digital fish scales like eryque posted are the ticket.

Reason why? You can carry them around to guitar stores and get the weights of the guitars easy.

Bathroom scales are the worst thing to use totally inaccurate for small weights.

I think you'll like it. I ship things frequently and I can get accurate weights for UPS and USPS with it, also. It is also quite portable, speaking to the point about carrying it to guitar stores. I'm glad I could be of help!

Get a kitchen scale. You're only going to weigh your guitar once, so you might as well buy something you can use every day.
