Could You Say A Prayer Please

My beautiful wife Ita passed away yesterday after a long illness. It would have been our 30th Anniversery next month.

At the moment , it really hasn't sunk in and normally I wouldn't ask something like this but as she always took an interest in what was going on with all of you here, could you say a little prayer for her.
Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear about that John. It's best to grieve now so it doesn't tear you down later.

Prayers and condolences. I can only imagine what you're going through.

If you don't already have it, CS Lewis' book, "A Grief Observed" has helped me more than once in times of loss. Chances are good you can find it at your local library.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my wife of 8 years back in 04, and the response that I got from the good people here on this board was overwhelming.

I pressed on. I made myself play all my gigs. It took a while, but I made myself return to this board and post about Teles and music in general. It's hard - I know (we had two small children too), but hang in there. You'll get through this, even when you're sure that you won't. I hope that you have lots of family and loved ones around you.

The kids and I will keep you in our prayers.

Edited to add:

Please feel free to PM me anytime, if you want to talk, ask any questions, or just vent.

Nothing I can say or do will lessen your grief, but I'm truly sorry for your loss and I wish you all the best in the future, for now all you can do is grieve.
