Trying to avoid the E-Bay route

I'm trying to sell some gear without going through e-bay. I'm mostly using free online classifieds. It's amazing how many stupid spam messages come in!! Gramatically, they are horrific. How do people fall for this stuff??
And besides the spam, I've only had one legitimate inquiry. Things don't seem to be moving at this particular time. Sorry, needed to vent!

Plus, I can't get the 52 RI I'm eyeing without selling the old one first. GRRRRRRR......

Naturally! I don't think they are coming from here. Most likely a site based on my local market.

We get plenty of them here too. Virtually everyone that places an ad in the classifieds here will get those scam offers from here. It's a sad fact of life.
