My Hamer sunburst P-90 goldtop just arrived!

And since it came to my classroom, I haven't had much chance to poke around with it.

Mahoghany back, maple top, set mahoghany neck, two P-90s, two volume, one tone. Pretty goldtop (not sure why the sunburst designation).

Anyone else do import Hamers?

I think the double cutaway Hamers are call Sunburst a lot because of the original Sunburst model from the '70s. Even when they don't have a sunburst finish. Some of the got called "Special" instead, but I'm not sure why. Posibly because they didn't have binding.

I don't like the way the top is carved on that gold one.....that's no where near as nice as they used to do it.

Cool guitar. P-90s are great pickups (don't know what the import Hamers come loaded with).

The USA Hamer Specials are non-carved mahogany bodies without a maple cap. I love mine...
