For those of us who remember the 70's

This is a fun little spoof site (I think!) I came across. It's got it all, ufo's, accordians, bigfoot, music. Check it out:

the 70`s?...yeah I was there...mostly in body, but I spent a lot of time expanding my mind so to speak. Some may argue it didn`t help me much.

I Knew Redd Foxx was up to something during the 70's .This explains alot, especially the strange feelings I have whenever I hear the song "Brandy".

The '70s... If you can remember it, you weren't there.

David learned that "Redd Foxx" was covertly running the Yenohp System's propaganda machine. "Foxx" was actually a shape-shifting neo-human from the planet Ykralam and was responsible for "triggering" David.

...

That's hilarious!!! I think that would make a worthy South Park episode...

One of my bandmates was in "Up with People." Naturally I forwarded the article to him. I'm waiting for his reply.

WickedGtr knows Bigfoot personally. He's a caring guy who's earned a rather unfounded reputation for trying to scare folks. Many of those times they heard him howl and look mean in the middle of a quick dash through the forest was because he was out of jerky and the hunger pangs make him howl. Be kind to the big guy.

If i'd known there was going to be a quiz 30 years later, I wouldn't have done half of the things I did back then.

The proper line is if ya remember the 60s you were not really there - as far as I know it comes from Robin Williams.

By the mid-70s I was straight as an arrow, heading back to school on a part-time basis (a local college so I could stay with my band) and was still avoiding shaving or getting a haircut. Made my living working on a boat in the Hudson River a couple of days a week doing environmental impact studies and whatever the band brought in. Spent more time on an old Triumph motorcyle than in a car. And was already missing the 60s.

Funny thing...the keyboardist from Looking Glass was the DJ at our wedding back in '96. As far as I know, he's still doing that line of work. I'll tell you, he did a good job. Works in central Jersey...at least, he did back in '96.

And I thought my days in the '70s were odd!?!??!! Actually, my times in the '70s were similar to Bill Clinton's, the difference being, I didn't exhale.

Later .............weedman
