Who´s playing in KISS these days?

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are still in the band but who are the guys that is supposed to look like Ace Frehely and Peter Criss??? Both Ace and Peter have drug/alcohol problems as far as I know...

Is this really Ace???

and this doesn´t look like the real Peter Criss to me...

I haven´t been updated on KISS in the last few years so if this is well known facts, then you all have to excuse my ignorance...

Tommy Thayer is playing as Ace Frehley & Eric Singer is back in the fold, this time in the cat make-up. Hope that helps..

I think the current lineup includes Tommy Thayer on guitar and Eric Singer on drums (Singer has been back and forth with the group over the years)

Tommy Thayer/Lead Gtr. & I think that's his hair.
Eric Singer/Drums Definately his hair, just dyed.
Paul Stanley/Vocals & Gt. -extensions but mostly his hair.
Gene Simmons/Bass & Vocals - Had hairplugs installed & a very recent facelift.
God, how sad is it that I know all this?

As for Ace and Peter...

They both are doing fine. The reason why the both of them aren't with kiss anymore is because they can't handle worldwide tours anymore.

And as for how Tommy and Eric are doing in this current line up...

With Tommy and Eric, Kiss can play both the classics and songs from their non-makeup years, they tried to do so with Ace and Peter but they simply don't have what it takes anymore to supply the power.

If he played his cards right, he could have had a multi-network publicity stunt, which Gene always seems to like...

He could have one of his "Family Jewels" episodes merge with "Dr. 90210" and have his surgery on 2 different shows on 2 different networks.

Those guys were crap when they were "happening".
They were nothing more than a marketing gimmick geared toward the 14 - 16 year olds.

I think they sucked out some of Gene Simmon's neck waddle and made a new drummer from it.

I think that's how they make new members every 10 years or so...

But then again I'm not really a KISS fan so I'm just guessing.
