Gear cart

It's come time that I should get one of those collapsable hand carts to drag my amp and gear around. Anyone using something they really like that's somewhat affordable?

I'd prefer one with larger wheels to handle the load. So far the carts I've found are way over $100, and that seems a little steep to me.

I bought a real nice two wheeler from Sear Hardware a few years back, and it has nice big inflatable tires. At least as good as 90% of what I ran into in factories. After I got it though, I realized that it didn't have one of those things to help you on stairs, which is pretty important when it comes to moving something like a 4x12 cabinet up and down stairs. It's one of those features you should be aware of.

I was thinking of a normal hand truck since I don't have one and it would be handy, but I think that the ability to fold it up is key right now.

I found one! Sears and Amazon and some other places carry a collapsable one called the Magna Cart for around $30. It has a 150 pound load and folds up pretty easily. I just unwrapped it so I don't know how it's going to hold up in the locng run, but it seems plenty sturdy to carry an amp and pedal board.

Those are good for big jobs, but I was specifically looking for something as small and storable as possible. Specifically, I'm rehearsing with a band that some of my students are in at school, and the band room is at the other end of the building, about 200 yards away from my room. I want to be able to bring my gear inside, store it in my closet during the day (and maybe jam a little during study hall ;) ) and then cart it down the hall for rehearsal.

I found one of these at my local Staples on sale for around $70. Perfect for my needs, guitar rig and mid-sice club PA.

Never mind - didn't read the rest of the thread first. My bad.
