Paul Butterfield Blues Band

Did Mike Bloomfield play on all the songs on the Paul Butterfield Blues Band?

No, just the first two albums on Elektra:

Paul Butterfield Blues Band and East West.

HIs solo on 'Shake Your Money' maker (1st album) is why I'm such a fan of his. But I like Elvin Bishop too and highly recommend the album after 'East West': "Pigboy Crabshaw".

EDIT: I think that's what you were asking...Or were you asking if whether Michael Bloomfield played on every cut on the first LP?

The album I really like is "In My Own Dream" with Elvin Bishop. Also has some great vocals from other guys (including Elvin), and great horns. David Sanborn plays sax. First heard it in about 1970.

What a killer band.

I always invoke Rod Hicks when people say you can't (or shouldn't) use a fretless bass for blues.

Paul got the love, for sure.

the title song is one of my all-time faves, with the gospel harmonies and such. we did it in a now-defunct band, great tune.
