Gong Xi Fa Cai!... or Happy Chinese New Year!

Here in Taiwan we have just started the holiday season known as Chinese (or Lunar) New Year. I have the next 10 days to play the guitar, record some new tracks for daviddoubleu and do as little as possible. It should be a relaxing time.

I would just like to wish everybody here a happy (Chinese) new year!

My daughter is Chinese, so we always do our best to join in with as many celebrations as possible. Sometimes leads to too many Tsing Tao beer.

i'll never forget the lunar new year celebrations from the time i spent living in viet nam. never seen so many people on scooters at one time.

plenty of ba ba ba's (333 beer) and i got hooked back onto the nam nam nam's (555 cigarettes), scooting about on my old lambretta... ahhhh, good people, good food, good times...

here's to the tdpri family. have a piggy new year.
