Enhanced CD won't play - now what?!

I was at WallyWorld this afternoon and picked up a copy of "Keith Urban in The Ranch" (someone posted a link to a you-tube video of the Ranch recently - thought it sounded good) when I put it in the DVD player it loads up and "plays", but no sound. I then stuck it in the computer's DVD drive, I get the two videos, but none of the 14 audio tracks. I tried the "explore" option - can't find the audio either. Any ideas? Back to Wally before I lose the receipt? This is annoying, I was looking forward to hearing this.

Rick

Have you tried it in a regular CD player?

The only other CD player I have is a cheap boom box, and yes it does play it. My DVD player does just fine on the other 84 CDs I own. What is going on here?

Had the same problem today with my son's new copy of the latest Weird Al cd which is a "DualDisc". It wouldn't play without skipping in my wife's car and wouldn't play at all in my PC's CD drive. When I popped it into my PC's DVD drive is was fine. After that I found this in the small print at the bottom of the DualDisc info sheet included with the cd

"The audio side of this disc doen not conform to CD specifications and therefore not all DVD and CD players will play the audio side of this disc"

Of course there was nothing about this on the outside of the package.....

yeah, the dualdiscs actually work in one of the several computers in my house, so whenever I import I just use that computer, then transfer them. A pain in the ____, really
