Pedals..........
This guy hits the pedals more times than Lance Armstrong during a bike race ! He must have one roadie dedicated to nothing but pedals ! Is it me or does it look like his back-up singers/dancers could benefit from a few hearty beef stew meals ? - man, they have that "I'm strung out" thin look in the video ! I don't think this will be one of the "memorable" half-time shows although it might be a refreshing break from all the teen divas, jail bait with a back beat performers, and boy bands that the NFL has paraded in front of us in the past. I thought the NFL had made a commitment to bring out the best of the best at halftime ? Guess they must be under budget restraints this year. Prince - yawn...... wake me up when the game comes back on

He can play !
Hey Beachkos, you sound a little jaded?
At least Prince ain't lip synching, he can play , and sing, and write his own songs, and he can move, what do you want? And he did a pretty wide variety just in 3 songs. I liked it. |

The guy is a musical genius
and a stellar musician.... On SNL recently, he demonstrated his prowess on the tele fretboard... impressive.... I dont have any of his CDs, but I never change the dial on him.. |

It will be way better at the Superbowl I bet. Prince is as tiny as about a 10 yr old no kiddin he is thin. I saw some of his onstage clothes at the Hardrock Cafe and the waist of his pants was just a bit wider than both my fists side by side about 6-7 inches.
Prince turns 49 on June 7th sure doesnt look like he is almost 50!!!

Yeah, I don't own any of his albums, but I've always been impressed. What a great musician.
I heard he has a standing show in Vegas. I'd love to see that next time I'm there. |

$125 to see him. and I think that might include a meal . He is there Fri and Sat I think not 100% sure and and on weekdays it cost $31.20 to get in and his friends like Larry Graham Chakka Kahn etc play then. Sounds like fun to me. IM sure all the exact details of his club are on his website.

hello everyone.
I've been a fan of the mans talent for over 20 years, if not all his music though. Isn't his guitar actually made by Hohner? the lil prinz or something like that? doesn't really matter, he kicks ass!! oh yeah, i wanna get to his club in vegas, Mark is right, sounds like fun! |

Prince is an awesome guitarist, I just wish he'd make more music that appeals to me, I find myself only being able to listen to his music for the guitar playing!

Prince is sorta like Little Richard James Brown and Hendrix all rolled up in a small package.
Id like to see him do a tribute to Jimi Hendrix CD its easy to tell he loves Jimi.

Great performance, and in the rain to boot! It's the best Super Bowl halftime show I can remember. Real music by a real musician. He played some hits, but did some stuff he wanted too. A+.
Was that a Jeff Beck strat?

Frikkin' awesome musician! Good taste in women (and Background singers/dancers) too!
But...imagine how small he would be without them high-heels!!!

Hey..thanks for the link Mark. I love the raunchyness of that tele. Dancers, some Salsa and Calypso, horns.....he's pure entertainment. I've enjoyed SOME of his music over his frequent metamorphis's of musical genre. He's such a presence and got charisma out the a**. His Super Bowl performace was very entertaining. I love how he drops his fretting hand and still does those quick hot licks. I'm sure some people would think that he's faking it. The Artist wouldn't do that...he puts his heart and soul into his music. Try doing that in heels! (Just kidding)
