Nashville Tuning Question
I've just bought the new issue of Guitar Legends about The Rolling Stones and there is a paragraph about Nashville Tuning. It sounds interesting to me and I was thinking about trying it. I was wondering what guage of strings to use for each string and how to tune it. High to low?, low to high? I have know idea so if sombody can explain it to me, that would help.

nope. it is that simple... it is also called "high strung" guitar on some albums... it is just the light strings on a 12 string...
Now I am pretty sure that folks like Joni Mitchell and some nashville cats have also used alt tunings on high strung guitars, but the lion's share of what most recordings have is what I describe. It is pretty fun to get an inexpensive guitar and just leave it tuned that way. I have a fender acoustic set up that way and it sparkles when you record it.
