Cat in Cab: One life down, eight to go!!

I did not realize that my daughter's little gray tabby cat, had crawled into my open back 1 x 12" speaker cabinet to take a nap!?
When I hit the first note, I heard a terrifying howling coming from my speaker cabinet.
I do not know who was more shocked, her or me?
She ran out of the cab (no claw damage, thank God) and out of the room.....she hasn't been back since.
I guess cats just don't appreciate fine music!!

That's funny. A lot of what comes out of my speaker cab sounds like "terrifying howling"... guess I should check to see if there's a cat back there. Glad she's okay.

I'd consider checking if the cat's not deaf by now..

I'm in love with Rock 'n' Roll, it satisfies my soul
If that's how it has to be, I won't get mad
I got Rock 'n' Roll, to save me from the cold
And if that's all there is, it ain't so bad

Were you playing "Stray Cat Strut"?
Don't be insulted, my playing's far from purrrfect also.

Growing up on a farm, during the winter, we would have outdoor cats crawl into warm engine compartments. Then you go to restart the motor and...

That could have been a cat-astrophe.

I've seen a cat come flying out of a small hole in a kick drum head at rehearsal....in a catatonic state obviously!
