That's a different kind of ash tray, have fun with it.

Say Fuzzy, not to give you any ideas but did you know what Eddie Van Halen used as a rackmount?

Look closely in the corner, EVH used the shell of an A-bomb as a rackmount.

Pretty cool. I could use something like that in the summer because I time how long I keep the dogs outside with a handmade cigar. They burn for around an hour

I read in the paper today that a man in Connecticut paid $200 for three snowballs (on ebay) from someone in Colorado. He said that he wanted his kids to have some snow since they had not had any this winter.

you should do a search on ebay for trench art. theres loads of stuff from WWI made in the trenches during the war.....they had so much time on their hands waiting in the trenches they used spend mortar shell casing to make lamps and all kinds of decorative things...they are starting to get collectible and some are very very good.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Brass-Tr...em230075794265

these are just a couple of quick ones, but i've seen much nicer and more ornate

I grew up with one of those on our kitchen table. My father made it himself during his time in the Navy in the mid '50s. I can't tell if those are pennnies in the slots on yours, but that's what he used. He still uses it too...though I wish he'd give up the habit.

While I was only a youngin at that time(0 to 8), I truly wished things could have been different for you and the other men lucky enough to make it home from VN. Young kids thrown into what must have been horrific circumstances. I hope it never, ever happens again. In my lifetime, or any other lifetime, to our service men & women.
A very late thanks to you and your comrades Fuzzy......God bless!

...One of the most unfortunate instances in our country's history. My Father served as well. Air Cav. For him, and you, and all the others, I hope we get to see the boys and girls oversees come home a whole lot better, in body, spirit, and in public recognition than so many did from your experience. Our national pride and health requires it.

Wow Fuzz. You posted about a morter shell on e-bait. I guess wartime brings out some pretty powerful feelings.

No kiddin' right?

Rest easy Fuzz. Take care of yourself, and turn that sword into some kinda plowshear.
