I think the "it's not original if it's been refretted" dogma is for under the bed collectors and non-playing investors. If a car needs new tyres you change them. He replaced the nut at the same time. Otherwise, everything is there as it left the factory. The 55 also has medium replacement frets that were on it when I got it, plus a 5 way switch, otherwise factory original. |
