"I'm sure the energy of his heart and soul are stored somewhere inside the aura of this really fine example of a vintage Fender Stratocaster."

Is that really the camera flash or the aura....or pretentious tripe?

I like the part about the broken nut which may present a problem for "serious string benders" (but not Stevie?).

Played 163 times? Not 162 or 164?

So many bad choices in writing copy there. I don't even know where to start...

The listing says the attorney purchased the guitar in 1978. The only years I see referred to in the document are 1976 and 1977?

This is considerable hearsay. The existence of a "lawyer" is not establsihed and the lawyer is not saying anything directly. This is a DEALER listing and his contention is that there is a lawyer and that the lawyer says...

I like how he pimps that the document is notarized. A notary makes no representation as to the veracity of a document; a notary's seal on a document only attests that you signed it and proved to the notary that you really are who you say you are.

Nice Strat.

I kinda doubt Stevie was 'close friends' with a lawyer in the 1970's. Certainly I could be wrong, but he was a local, (poor) musician whose only contact with a lawyer may have been when he was evicted from an apartment for non-payment of rent or whatever.

Right in the middle of his other high end auctions is a dang printer cartridge. Times must be tough in TX.

"We are offering a real factory original Hewlett Packard color ink cartridge #57"

This one has been on the 'Bay before. Same story, didn't sell. Notice it doesn't say SRV owned the guitar at any point just that he played it 163 times.

ya'know, if these guys weren't so greedy, they could still get a decent amount of cash for selling a 1965 Fender Strat, no matter who played it!
