The Whitesnake just got me up to 54. Or would if I could get the page to load. If I can ever log on, I'll just post a screenshot.

I only got about 32 or so from memory, the rest I found by poring through "Listmania" on Amazon, just looking up bands on Amazon, a couple from this thread, and a couple more from threads on other boards.

Hawkwind were a UK band early 70s with a great stage show (or so it seemed at the time!), must have seen them dozens of times it seems. Lemmy from Motorhead was the bass player. Several well known numbers including "Silver Machine" and "Brainstorm". They still play, occasional Hawkfests, I think most of them live in Cornwall now . . .

Thunder however I have no idea

Ah, Stacia came from Exeter, my home town, lived next door to a friend's g/f at the time - I remember a lengthy conversation with her at about 2 in the morning in a minicab office trying to get her to go home - she had been consuming something that hadn't helped her remember who or where she was! I guess she had come straight from a gig because she was still wearing/not wearing most of her stage costume. You imagine trying to run a minicab operation with a six foot tall amazon with hardly anything on mumbling in a corner of the office. She was alright in the end though, and I knew where she lived so got her home OK.

Think she lives in New York, according to some web site reports on Hawkwind. They still play around the South West a lot, played Exeter last year apparently.

Haldon House - first place I ever played on a stage! Badly . . . . .

See, yet another band from that hotbed of British Rock, Devon. I remember when they were called The Empty Vessels playing at my high school dances!
