A Police reunion would be about as welcome as Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis getting back together.

Hey,

I like The Police as much as anyone, and anything is LIABLE to happen...
but I don't believe Sting is willing to work with Stewart Copeland in an extended amount of time. While I'm sure that none of them "need" the money or exposure, I'm guessing that a certain Mr. Gordon Sumner is past that point of putting The Police back together again.

I would love to see them back together, but I just don't see it happening.

I don't see Sting going for it, but I guess anything is possible.

It would be nice. Without Sting, of course. They need a serious singer/bassist.

Has Stewart Copeland learned how to keep time yet?

Oh c'mon! I'd buy tickets to a Martin and Lewis reunion in their current states. A bloated Jerry whining to Dean's skeletal remains excites me far more than the prospect of a Police reunion.

I hope it happens. Sting need to have a fire lit under him to make another great rock album/CD. Andy can invent some great new riffs everyone can copy for the next 20 years.

Sting'll have to push his fat, bloated ego out the door first. We had a thread on this very subject a year or two ago.

I'm not holding my breath for a Police reunion or a VH reunion. In fact, I'm in the "who cares" corner on both. They have both become irrelavent to all but the most loyal of fans.
