Mule
According to the listing, Government Mule will be playing on Conan OBrien tonight. I know he doesn't play a tele but Warren Haynes is great and I thought I would give my fellow TDPRIers a heads up.
As a side note...they reran the week from Chicago last week on Conan and he did a bit with Lil Ed. Conan played a tele the whole time. He can actually play a little. |

Saw that! Warren and GM where great! Though there wasnt much of a lead in the song, Warrens tone and phrasings are excelent, and I think his vocals have come a long ways. Gov't Mule sounded really good!

Gov't Mule is one of the most awesome bands out there. I think everybody should own a copy of "Live...with a little help from our friends" New Years Eve 1998. Marc Ford, Chuck Levell, the Purple Wu himself Mr. Bernie Worrel and there is a version of the song Soulshine with Derek Trucks that will make you shed a tear.

Thanks morroben! Warren Haynes is one of my guitar heroes. I wish I could sit down with an acoustic and belt it out like he does. I love his vocals; down & dirty, raw & gritty. His guitar playing needs work though
