Howdy Roundoak,
You've come to the right place... There's folks here that know just about everything there is to know about Tele's...

Maybe a good place to start would be what models you have in mind...?? And how much (roughly) you want to spend...?? There's also some that would suggest building your own from the ground up... That way you can get exactly the specs you want...

Welcome aboard!

BBB.

Hey ROUNDOAK, I lived in Delawhat?, er...Smellawhere?
you know - Dupontainia - that suburb of Cherry Hill, NJ...

Delaware! Yup, lived in Newark for years! And over the line in PA
in Chester County too. Worked at Gore-tex for 12 years.

Some GREAT players from Delaware too (for it's size).
Billy Blough (George Thoroughgood's bass player),
George Thoroughgood, Tommy Alderson, Snake (now in Nashville),
Randy Coleman (now in Nashville), Joe Grant (R.I.P.),
Dana Sutcliff (remember the WAVE guitar?), Dave Justice
(now in Philly), Tommy Conwell, Johnny Neal (ABB, etc...),
Robbie Myers (incredible session drummer living in LA now),
David Bromberg lives there now, and MANY other rockers!

You know any of 'em?

Used to keep an amp and a guitar in my car on the weekends
because I KNEW I'd find a jam somewhere!

Used to hang around the DEER PARK and saw alot of great
bands in the old days at the STONE BALLOON (Warren Zevon twice!)
back in the 1970's. Great college town.

How long you've lived in Delaware?

Now, I'm just south a few hours on the Eastern Shore.....
The only night life here are the crickets, barking dogs,
and bugs flying around the lights.
