I bought an Ibanez today
![]() Only because I wanted a guitar with a Floyd Rose that wasn't that expensive. The idea is to eventually cannibalise it and to use the parts in the restauration of my old Ibanez Blazer and maybe sell the hulk after I did so.

One of my biggest regrets was getting rid of my Ibanez RG 550...Just couldn't get used to the Floyd. I got a Steve Lukather RoadStar II and working on another RG...I'm not giving up shredding...yet! Blazer, that one looks wicked, in a GOOD way.

After owning it for a couple of days, I decided to leave it as it is with the exception of maybe removing the middle pickup which sounds really lackluster.

I bought a Ibanez Jet King not long ago, and it's amazing for a $150 guitar.
Versatile sound from the split coil humbuckers, and cool old school, Dano-esque styling. Right up there with the Squier 51 (just bought one of those, too) in the bargain basement bargain category. best Allen |

Cool score!!
Me bad: Two used guitars this weeK. Mid-80's, Japanese made, Westone Spectrum ST & almost new, Ibanez GSZ-120 ($200 for both). I've never owned an Ibanez before, so we'll see? Steve |

Please Please be very carefull with that guitar.
...you could poke someones eye out. While that particular model maybe isn't my cup of tea, I think in general many Ibanez's are very decent guitars at a great value. Good luck. I hope you get your Blazer back in working order while minimizing any puncture wounds. |
