BTO - Takin' Care of Business - How to play right?

So I need to play Takin' Care of Business next week. Not THAT big of a deal. Everyone knows it OR do you really???

I started listening and main honkin' bar chord rhythm and the solos are straight forward enough...BUT can anyone tell me how the second higher voiced rhythm guitar that comes in on the choruses is played? Is it capoed? Is it some chord voicing I can't find? Is it maybe a Keith type tuning? This is also the same guitar that starts the break downs. You can clearly hear a higher guitar and then the meatier bar chord guitar comes in.

Anyone know how to properly play the higher part?

Thanks
