Quick report on my trip to Dallas

So I spent 4 days in Dallas for a radio convention. Here are the highlights:

1) Saw the band Under The Influence of Giants
2) Saw Kaki King do her soundcheck at the Gypsy Tea Room (I sat about 3 feet from the stage).
3) Walked from Deep Ellum up to the Plaza where Kennedy Was Shot
4) Met 2 Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders

5) I wasn't expecting to, but I also met Jessica Simpson

and the best for last.....

I saw ESTEBAN!!!!. He and his band played a set at the convention

----yeah, that ESTEBAN, the guy from the Shopping Channel.

Forget "The Boys'" cheerleaders, and Jessica Simpson! Did you get Esteban's autograph?!

Man, that is a LONG walk. And somewhat risky - but the odds are in your favor. It is a pleasent walk, just a little hazardous at certain times.

Glad you had fun.

I wouldn't have done it, and I've lived here 40 years.

It wasn't that bad at all. It was still light out and I don't mind a good walk.

Our man nasonm's trip content hit the internet nerd trifecta. Hot chick, sports-related hot chicks, and conspiracy theory. Well played!

I know that a lot of folks don't like the bimbo/glamour girl that she is found of portraying (and might indeed BE). But the rules of this forum clearly mandate to treat EVERYONE with respect. I tend to think that includes folks that are not here to defend themselves.
