Rory Gallagher playing "Calling Card", I always love it when I stumble across some Rory footage I haven't seen before, the audio is a little quiet so you might want to crank your speakers. I wish I'd been around to see him live.. Anyone else a big Rory fan? |

Wow, I thought I'd posted to this thread yesterday....
Anyhoo, Rory is a HUGE influence. If I truly hero-worshipped a guitarist, it would be him. There's a ton of Rory stuff on YouTube, thank God. Of interest to me is the later shows with his last band, just out of curiousity. Also, I must mention the bass work of Gerry McAvoy. He was like an extension of Rory himself. I would LOVE to work with Gerry and Brendan O'Neill for a rhythm section!
