Gram question for Heather and others
Hey,
Quick question. How close is the Burrito's version of "To Love Somebody" to the Bee Gees as far as time frame? Any cool stories as to how this cover came about? or is it even a cover? thanks in advance, JC |

This should probably be moved to another forum, but an interesting
fact about that song is that it was written by Barry Gibb for Otis Redding, who died before he could record it. It was also covered by James Carr (1969). Carr is, of course, most famous for his definitive version of "Dark End of the Street" - another Burrito connection! Hillman and Parsons were big fans and the post-Gram Burritos recorded Carr's "Losing Game" in 1972.
