Sports Bars in Santa Cruz

I NEED to watch the Cal/Tennessee game this Saturday in Santa Cruz, CA. Any recommendation for a place with big screen TV's would be much appreciated. Tony

Santa Cruz doesn't have any real sports bars they are way too hippified for that stuff. What can you expect from a town that names their University teams after banana slugs.

That said, there is a bar with a TV called The Garage Sports Bar and I remember watching some sooccer with the sound turned off at Rosie McCann's.

Maybe Seabright Brewery? How about Henfling's Tavern?

I'm glad that Santa Cruz is they way it is, and is not overrun with rednecks.

Somehow, I get the impression that team sports are not all that popular at Santa Cruz.

I loved living over there and hope it never changes... we were over at friends over there last weekend and just love it..... Tony, before you go watch the game go to the Silver Spur for breakfast on saturday.... it is a wonderful place to eat.
