Gotta love the story of the One-ders and their reaming by Playtone Records!

I particularly like it that his soundtracks since then have been released by, yep, Playtone Records...

Cheers, Tim

Dragnet.

"Yeah--that's me...Muzz...Emil Muzz! I've been sick lately, though. *cough cough*"

Behind Dragnet, I'd say:
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. That Thing You Do
4. The Green Mile
5. Toy Story
6. Apollo 13
7. Philadelphia
8. Cast Away
9. Forrest Gump
10. The Ladykillers

I've got to go with Saving Private Ryan, although I liked Cast Away, and The Green Mile too. Still, Bachelor Party is hard to ignore!

Regards,
Rob

Tom Hanks in "That Thing You Do" is an understated part. The real star of that movie is the song! But I can watch it again and again.

It doesn't hurt that Charlize Theron is in it too!

I think the last time I could stand Tom Hanks in anything was around the time of "Splash".

I voted for Gump but I loved That Thing You Do, Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile... He's the Jimmy Stewart of his generation.

None of the above. Gotta be either Apollo 13 or Pvt. Ryan.

haha - you mind if i ask why you started the thread then?

personally hank's name on the poster is usually enough to put me off. i only read this thread because you'd started it and i thought "that's funny - based on previous posts i wouldn't have thought that david would especially be interested in tom hanks films" then you go and reveal you haven't even seen most of the films in your poll?

what gives?
