I've got to go with Saving Private Ryan, although I liked Cast Away, and The Green Mile too. Still, Bachelor Party is hard to ignore!

Tom Hanks in "That Thing You Do" is an understated part. The real star of that movie is the song! But I can watch it again and again.

It doesn't hurt that Charlize Theron is in it too!

haha - you mind if i ask why you started the thread then?

personally hank's name on the poster is usually enough to put me off. i only read this thread because you'd started it and i thought "that's funny - based on previous posts i wouldn't have thought that david would especially be interested in tom hanks films" then you go and reveal you haven't even seen most of the films in your poll?
