Brad Paisley songs I don't know about????

So I thought I knew them all, then while reading the gear page of his site, at the end of Time Well Wasted, there's three songs I've never heard!! Are they hidden on the cd? That CD was ripped off from my car, so I only have it on my iPod. I can't see them there. They're called "Yes you will" "Toilet seat" and "Hard to say hello".
The only thing I just htought of now is that there were some of his songs on that movie cars. Are these them? Why are they on Time well wasted then!?!?
Just to bug me? Probably.......... damn him. Oh well, i'll show him!! I'll go practice my tele now.........

I saw that some time back, but forgot to ask about it here.

I have the CD and have never heard those tunes either. Well...I did hear that Toilet Seat one on a video on youtube, but it's not on my album.

Those songs are from a bonus CD received when purchasing Time Well Wasted from Target stores.

Similar offers included Walmart offering a DVD of some of his videos, and Best Buy selling Brad's Mud On The Lens concert DVD.

The other song on that bonus CD is called "College," a duet with Pat Greene.

Disappointed with BP

I just found out about this. I bought the CD from Best Buy or Circuit City or somewhere. Little did I know that I had to choose the correct retailer if I wanted to get the entire CD. Needless to say, I feel a cheated.

Maybe I'll check out BP's website and see if they offer the extra tunes to those of us that didn't use the preferred retailer.

Yeah I don't know whose idea it was, Walmart sold there special edition with the dvd in no time, I never even saw one. I have the Target version and woulda bought the wally world version, but no luck. In fairness lots of bands do bonus tracks that are for a limited time only, it gets the cd sold quicker.

Well, I'm glad I didn't buy the CD at Wal-Mart last month. I was thinking about it because it was on sale. No wonder.
This kind of stuff could easily work against an artist.

It's a bonus for folks folks who (a) are super-fans and know about the preferred retailer, or (b) who happen to be shopping at Target and pick up the album.

I find that I buy music on impulse. If I'm in Best Buy and I decide I want to listen to something new, then I wander over to the CDs and pick out a couple. If there's an artist like BP that I know I already like, no need to do further research. I just buy it because I know I'll like it.

That said, the different ways that people shop for music isn't the issue. The issue is that if you spend the same money for the same product at different stores, the content should be the same. In this case, the CD was incomplete if you bought it anywhere other than Target.

The lesson for people who buy music on impulse is to do some research before buying CDs from Brad Paisley or Arista Nashville.

The songs are
College (duet with another guy)
Ode De Toilet (the toilet song)
The One that Said Goodbye (I think that's it)
Yes You Will

If there was a fifth song, I can't remember it right now. I bought mine at Target on a whim (but I knew in advance that the Target version had the extra tracks)

I had to be careful. Half the copies of the CD had the second disc and half didn't. I don't you can get them anymore at Target at least.

So Hooray for me!!!

I don't mind the prepacked deals luring you to one store or the other, it does kinda suck that they may have been limited runs. What would be cool is if they wanted to do that, wait and then release them online from their site. I may have listened to the extra songs like once. I would like to be able to see the videos ....I'm a DVD addict .
