yeah it`s tough finding info on em because of the lack of serial number. According to my books they began serials in 1975 so anything before that is guesswork, even to the guys who write books on the subject over here.
That Yamaha is all solid wood. Seems the #15 was the export model, they made several models. It`s pretty loud for a small body and in the Japan Vintage book I bought on early Yamahas, they were designed to use either nylon or steel strings... just another reason Yamaha is one of my favorite makers.
