Then you need to aim for a different segment of the market. We're not playing many bars next year, we're lining up weekend festivals. Show up, tune up, power up and go! Play 90 minutes, get the hell out and make at least twice what most bar gigs pay around here.
No running sound, no drunks coming right up to your face screaming "PLAY SOME SLAYER, MAN!" No idiots demanding to sit in on harmonica, no bar owners saying their wife/girlfriend/daughter/cousin/friend can sing great and should sit it.
Just show up, tune up, power up and go, play 90 minutes and go home.
And make more money. :D
