Back in a band again?????

Got an tentative offer to join a new blues band now forming.
Other than sitting in with bands and backing singers I have stayed free of a band committment for about 25 years. But this one is interesting, they are apparently willing to try and merge their style with my open-tuned extended bass patterns and trebly slides, multiple string bends, and runs (not sure how to really describe it - lets just say I listened to alot of Curly Weaver and Barbecue Bob). I guess they think it will work well with a keyboard and sax.

Not sure if it will work out but it is certainly nice to feel appreciated and I kinda would like to get back on a stage. Guess I need to get serious again and start practicing instead of just noodlin'.

And its just nice to play with folk, you never know what might come of it musically or personally, it may send your playing in a different stylie or you might just make some new firends to have a beer with, who knows ?
