What is a good Music Cell Phone - sorry no Tele content
Forgive me if I shouldn't be posting this here. I am in the market for a good cell phone. I would like to buy a multimedia phone which of course specializes in Music.
I'm am a Tele owner and have been playing for over 30 years. Since I am a musician I would like to have a phone that is music capable but of the best quality. I have a very old phone which finally went dead on me and I might as well upgrade to something worth while. My service is Sp___t. If anyone can recommend something for me I would really appreciate it. Thank you all so much. |

Get a treo 600 or 650 and install pocket tunes. That gives you Internet radio (unlimited data is usually part of the contract), which is way more stations than XM. They also have an SD slot and a decent speaker. I also use an adapter and play it through my car and home stereos.
I was already on a contract so I could not get a special deal, but I got a refurb 600 on ebay for $200. Probably cheaper now. That gives you an Internet browser, mp3 player, palm software, Internet radio, e-mail, digital camera, phone, and probably some other gizmos I am not thinking of in a gadget the size of a deck of cards. Makes a handy flashlight, too. |
